@zorro19551 Frustrating ain't it! Especially with GL patch V3.3 out today!
Whenever I have had such game launcher issues with Origin pc, here's my solution is that usually resolves it;
1) Disable Origin overlay in both its own Origin app settings and then also GL game properties via library. Exit Origin. (You can enable it later once GL's actually ran successfully.) In W10 task manager [Ctrl+Shift+Esc] ensure no Origin tasks whatsoever are shown, if they are, close 'em!
2) Then I go here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 and choose the X64 download. Run as Admin, and eventually you should see:
Reboot pc. Now (using latest suite of uncorrupted C++ redist's 🧙) run Origin pc, run fully downloaded and updated GL v3.3, report back here.
Worth a go whilst you await... EAHelp? 🤐 Up to you. I had AmzP GL running fine within minutes, and perhaps my solution may help you get racin' too! 🥳
ps - You can all google for the correct MSVC++ files yourselves if you are frightened by the above MS link!
pps - I don't try and use EA Desktop App beta pc anymore, life's too short.
