I completely understand your frustration. I had a similar experience with the game, and it's disheartening when you invest in something like the Year 1 pass only to encounter issues. The pain is indeed real, and it's reassuring to know that others share the same sentiment. Let's hope the developers are actively addressing these issues and working on improvements. We deserve a game that lives up to the investment we've made.

  • I’d like a developer to respond why why chat called me entitled when I asked for help on how to get this game to run. 

    Seriously, I think I’m owned that much. Because how dare I expect games I buy off a store front to work. 


    I don’t mind giving you guys time to fix this so long as I know you realize that was crazy wrong to call a dedicated customer of your IP.

    Look, we all want this fixed, but the supporter on the other end is clearly not a native speaker and “entitlement” was not the intended wording. 

    We all want a fix, and hopefully soon, but you gotta let that part go. 

  • #1 He made it clear later in the discussion that is very much what he meant, and #2 He has one job.. to talk to customers, help them find solutions and be respectful. If he can't do that, he's failing at the only thing he's paid to do. The rep after him gave me no issues what so ever and was kind and helpful and lead me here. It's not a hard ask.

    Back on topic, I really can't believe it's taking so long to get the game functional. We're talking about EA here, they're not exactly some small team by any means. I honestly can't remember any other time I've had a digitally purchased game become literally unloadable like this, especially one that had released years prior with no issues, prior.

    12 day since not works. Is it not possible that this is an evil business strategy? But even then, there's no way I'll ever buy EA SPORTS™ WRC.

  • Yeah this is embarrassing. How do you not test the game before pushing out an update not know how to fix it within two weeks?

    STILL NOT WORKING!!!!!! GAME STILL ON SALE ON THE PS STORE ... ROUGH MOVE TO ANYONE THAT ACTUALLY BUYS THE GAME ON THIS DAYS .,.

    NOT EVEN A MESSAGE ON THE WEBISTE OF DIRT5 AND EA WEBISTE ONLY HERE SO GUESSING A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL NOT KNOW IF THEY BUY THE GAME.

     A GAME THAT DOES NOT WORK ... 

    ITS A SHAME THAT EA AND CODEMASTERS DONT CARE ABOUT THE DIRT5 COMMUNITY AT ALL .

    This is my problem. Bought the game yesterday -  can't get past the start screen. I had luck loading it on another user profile that isn't connected to PSN. I can't believe this issue has been happening for so long with no fix.

    This is the only game I like from EA.... and the support for it sucks .....

    The lack of any meaningful response is alarming. I'm done playing this game with CM. I'm having PS refund my purchase. Screw this. 


    If CM ever wants to fix the game so it freakin LOADS one day, hit me up. This is embarrassing.

    Guessing I will have to make the same and ask for a refund on the DLC content that I barely used.

    Shame on CM and EA. No way you can call this support.
