Right there with you. However it gets much worse than unobtainable achievements. You actually can't progress to the final Gauntlet of the Career mode without completing Avax sponsor goals! You can't unlock Renault R26 in your garage without completing Avax race, therefore you can't upgrade R26, therefore you can't finish last race of Open Wheel Racing in Pro category, therefore you can't unlock The Gauntlet. This is a game breaking bug, the way it is now, we can't finish a career. Codemasters/EA don't bother to show up on Steam forums and even when people report bugs here they remain unadressed, just complete radio silence.
