Steering wheel not recognized on Xbox Series X

Not recognizing my steering wheel as a controller.  Using Logitech G920 on Xbox Series X.  Anyone know what may be wrong?

  • I'm having a similar issue with the G920 on my Xbox one. All buttons work except for X,Y,B, and A. I'm hoping it's just a minor bug that gets fixed rather quickly.

  • My G920 is recognized by the game now but yes I'm having the same problem with the XYAB buttons.

I'm having a similar problem.  I have a Fanatec GT DD PRO and I'm using the 10 hour trial of Grid Legends on XBOX Series X.  Under controller settings it showed the gamepad as the primary controller.  I had to manually bind the inputs for the steering wheel to get it to function, but the game will not allow me to bind the XYAB buttons at all.  I actually have the game preordered on PS5... so hopefully it will be more functional with the steering wheel on that console.

  • I tried it on my PS5 tonight and all buttons and functions were recognized without issue, the revlights and LED display even worked on my wheel.  The steering feel is a little odd though... maybe it just needs a bit of adjustment under settings.

  • So I solved this problem with the XYAB buttons on the Logitech g920 on Xbox Series X.  The buttons did work only after I unplugged my shifter.  Not optimal but at least we can use the buttons while EA fixes the problem.

  • I'm having the same exact problem csl dd pro xbox did you figure it out?

@alexbtoronto Thanks for this. I was getting wound up no end last night trying to configure my wheel. I’ll try disconnecting my shifter tonight. Definitely needs fixing though.

Are you having any issues on ps5 with the GT DD Pro? I have the same wheel but noticed the car will rev but won't move after a few races. It seems as if the brakes are stuck and preventing the car from moving.
