v3.1 Update Discussion

Hey everyone,

The v3.1 Update is now available. Please ensure you are connected to the internet in order to download the update.


Some headline features include Classic Car-Nage, the first of four premium DLC packs for Deluxe Edition players! More about that can be found here: https://www.ea.com/games/grid/grid-legends/news/classic-carnage-update

Here are a couple additional points to make you aware of:

  • Photo Mode is scheduled to arrive in the next update
  • We are continuing to investigate bugs, please continue to report them - the team are monitoring EA Answers and socials for any reports.

    @CM_TGK No patch on Steam, nothing. Hopefully you REALLY took all our bug reports to heart and fixed them. Cause I doub't many people will buy you DLC when they experience all the game breaking bugs.

    Thanks for the update and the DLC, but unfortunately I am unable to access the content (take a look at the screenshot).

    I own the Deluxe edition on Steam but I think the Season content is not linked to it.

    Next to that the widescreen issues are not solved and the replays are still dull.

    I really want to like this game, but too many bugs are ruining the experience and the updates are underwhelming.

    @Captain_Iglo_83 Not to mention, nothing in the career has been fixed, this update adds an Expansion that you can’t even play at all… it just adds a car from Ford for free and that’s it. This feels like Asphalt 8 and 9 at this point. Simply adding stuff that you won’t play since not enough money has been collected from you’re credit card

    @enzoleninja2012 After 2 career resets because of progression bugs the game feels like a chore. I won't play career mode while complaints about sponsors and other unlocks keep flowing. While waiting, I start the game once in a while to try something new with the race creator.

    The DLC has been added to my account and the DLC is accessible in game now.
