“Big hit moments” and analog stick

Question

Accidentally got a big hit moment in the “tour” play style setting using the analog stick… The sequence where the swing is in slow motion and the club glows and all that… happened a few days ago without trying. I cannot for the life of me replicate it. I always overswing to give it the extra power and I can only get to where it says +5% power or so. Tried different swing speeds, delays, etc.

I can get this flawlessly with the 3-click method.

Anyone know the secret to this? Or does anyone regularly get these with the stick?

There is this video that explains it. You need to bring the stick back to the middle.

@mariothebee I've never seen a big hit moment other than when playing on arcade or pro and adding a bunch of power during the drive. Seems like you may have encountered a bug or a rare instance of something happening. I really have no idea.

@packattack04082I always play on tour - it’s possible to do as when I switch to 3-click (still on tour), I always get them.

I’m going to get it today.
It’s so inconsistent it seems while on stick. Wish there was just a driving range mode.
