I was told by one of you EA employees that if there were any changes to the game, that the gamers would be updated with any change. For several months now there is no rankings. This first started several months ago. That is a huge "change" that has occurred to the game. Endless amounts of gamers have questioned on this forum and support as to WHY the rankings were deleted and are not working now? Huge change to the game, but no correspondence to the gamers why. So, if its policy to update gamers of any changes to the game, why hasn't there been any updates about this at all? It's only been several months its going on, so its not like it news to you.
Feedback - Using 2 created golfers when playing with someone else
My wife and I created own characters and played locally againts each other in old EA Sports golf games. The characters we created had their own look, clothing and skills and these characters could improve their skills by performing tasks. We could choose where to play and so on. Is this kind of activity possible in EA Sports PGA Tour 2023?
Revamping the RNG if anyone at EA is listening
I was just rethinking this. I believe most of us feel that the RNG in this game is broken and was never well implemented. And truly have no idea how it works. I believe RNG does have a place in the game, and have always advocated for a 1% rule for a perfectly executed shot. Meaning for a perfectly struck 300 yard drive the ball could be up too 1.5 yards off line either side of the target. And for poorly struck shots it could get exponentially wors, maybe up to 20-30% or 30 to 45 yards off line for the most severe misses. Difficulty levels could be controlled by making the timing window and swing path harder to achieve as they advanced in levels... with even an option NOT to have RNG for the beginner difficulty. I would also advocate that in a bad lie... that there is a multiplier used to increase RNG. HOWEVER... the better you execute the shot the less RNG is in play. To a point where a perfect shot (PERFECT/PERFECT timing) is rewarded with a shot like it came off of the fairway. This would really make playing from the fairway important and that hitting a flyer was possible. It would make playing back into the fairway more of a option, rather than just hitting every ball as close to green as you can. Where it is easier to control a shot 100 yards out on the fairway than a shot from the hazard from 20 yards. I like that EA introduced the concept of RNG, I just don't understand or like how it was implemented. This could be an outstanding game if they actually had someone who plays golf help design it. I would love for them to have a PGA Touring Pro on staff consulting them to produce a true golfing experience. Instead of using their face or name to collect a check. And they could always dial back the difficulty for the arcade player. I could be wrong but I think the arcade player still wants a realistic experience... they just don't want the game so difficult that it is frustrating to play. It is possible to have both EA just hasn't done it. By the way... we need an option to increase the current speed of the greens. Having 5 more distinct quicker green speeds would be nice to select from.
PGA Tour - request for private match options
How are there no private matches except non-turn stroke? I mean, you have all these game modes, stroke, match, best ball, alt shot, etc that I love to play. But you don’t offer them in a private match!? Only local or vs cpu ai!? All I want to do is invite my friends to play any of those game modes. Or at the very least give us the option to do turn based stroke. But even that would get boring quick. It make’s absolutely no sense. You call this a next gen game yet it’s basically a single player game. It’s a shame cause me and my buddies have been waiting for this game for years! Thinking we’ll finally be able to play an EA golf game together online. But No. what a let down. Again, it’s just straight up baffling how a next gen game that has online play, doesn’t have any sort of constructed layout for private matches. A real shame.
No Stars- Challenges are not registered
Product: EA SPORTS PGA TOUR Platform: PlayStation 5 Summarize your bug: I don’t get stars from all challenges. How often does the bug occur? 100% of the time on certain challenges. Steps: I’m not sure how to reproduce it. That’s why I’m asking for help. What happens when the bug occurs? I complete the challenge but don’t receive any stars. What do you expect to see? I expect to get stars after completing challenges and for the issue to be fixed.
PC Mouse Swing Control
Hello, I'm considering buying this game but as a PC player I want to know if I can control my swing with the mouse. And no, I don't mean that prehistoric 3-click nonsense. I mean use my mouse as you use the stick on a controller. Such as you can with 2k23. I saw that upon release this fundamental control method for PC users was omitted. Unbelievably. However having been out for almost a year, surely this has been fixed? It's important that I know because no mouse swing, no purchase and I will by 2k's game instead.
