Disapointed with PS5 Update
I have been playing this game for 9 months through my PS5 plus premium subscription. The graphics are excellent and for the most part I enjoy the game the the exception of the following issues: The commentators do not have any situational awareness and cannot differentiate between the paying customer (me) and the CPU characters I am playing with. Please remove the obnoxious Frank Navalo! I'm sure you know what I mean. How wind affects the golf balls is very inconsistent even during the same round on the same course. I've won the Fedex Cup twice in this game yet every new season the game treats me as a rookie that has never won a tournament before. You only get paid credits for winning the tournament. Second or third place get nothing. Much different than PGA TOUR 2K25, which is more reflective of how prize money(points) are actually paid. I incorrectly assumed that at least some of these issues would be addressed in the latest update that was available on the PS5. You know the one I was charged $15.00 for. However although the graphics are prettier, none of the above mention defects were addressed. When will the above mentioned game software errors be addressed and/or can I get my money back for an upgrade that did nothing to improve gameplay? Thank you
Pro Pass Token earnings.
Happy New Year ya'll. New to this game but not new to the franchise as I've been playing it since 1991 on Sega Genesis. Besides weekly quests and playing rounds in career mode, wherw else can I earn Pro Pass tokens? My Pro Pass lvl is at 38, earing 600 Pro Pass tokens a week, will take me 60 weeks to reach lvl 90, that's an insane amout of time. I read on google that you can earn 20 tokens per hole but a game mode wasn't specified. I'm not spending real money to get the green points since it will take 7,350 pts to complete the Pass, that's $49.99 for 5,750 and a extra $19.99 for 2,750 pts. That's $70 on points only, the cost of the full game though i got it on sale not to long ago for a mere $8.49 on PS store.max ai difficulty/ hard putting/ hard swing plane is way too easy! PGA 2023
Playing rd 2 masters, and don’t get me wrong it feels pretty awesome, I’m having a blast. Just way 2 ez. I mean yeah I could remove the auto putting distance and line to make the game more difficult but I’ve tried that, and it’s not that much harder, just takes way longer. It’s a video game I want it to have a little fun/fluidity. Just hoping the players are better and shoot lower in the pga, because the korn ferry is silly. I win by 15 -20 even after making the settings as hard as possible without losing that fun feel/pace of play. I maybe average -35 (full four rounds) . I’ll eventually play online matches and find out how good I’m really not. BUT I JUST WANTED TO PLAY THE CAREER MODE WITH A LITTLE BUT OF A CHALLENGE HELLOOOO. Also first 2k I’ve tried since The tour 2019 lol. ty for your time love Chris (ps i know it’s 2026 good point ill shut up and try a newer game) <33 must haves in game going forward
Totally subjective to how I and my family play but.. 3 click simple swing must stay in the game. It’s key to keep casual gamers competitive Muliplayer local play with custom avatars even if it means no one gets XP and they should remain equal in base talent so no one gets too good a player Better Ryder Cup play by having more European players The game gets played in this house as a family game mostly, rarely solo The current Road to the masters was pretty much a fail for the way we like to play.Local Play with custom golfers in future games
My fault for not knowing when I bought the game. But in all future games local play with custom players should be a must feature. I heard it was because the game could not figure out how to award xp. But why does it need to for couch play? I want to sit down with my 4 friends, drink a beverage, and golf with custom avatars.
PGA Tour - Feedback on in-game Commentary
Can a bug be raised for commentary in general please. I see too many bugs to raise specifics, calling out that I've had bogeys when I have a par, saying I might win my first tournament when I have won before, wrong number of shots compared to what I've hit. I was told by one of you EA employees that if there were any changes to the game, that the gamers would be updated with any change. For several months now there is no rankings. This first started several months ago. That is a huge "change" that has occurred to the game. Endless amounts of gamers have questioned on this forum and support as to WHY the rankings were deleted and are not working now? Huge change to the game, but no correspondence to the gamers why. So, if its policy to update gamers of any changes to the game, why hasn't there been any updates about this at all? It's only been several months its going on, so its not like it news to you.
