3 button vs swing stick ranked matches

  • Why in TF do I have to play ranked matches with someone who is obviously cheating, or has a super unfair advantage by 3 click shots?  It is like playing two different types of games.  Ranked should be a comparison of skills, not me playing against people who can make albatross obviously 3 clicking and probably using a cheating device.  Have some pride in your game, cause this is trash

  • I'm not playing much online, because nobody can't stop those 3rd party devices. Having said that, I do have a few albatross while playing career mode. Sadly, it looks like EA is doing something about straight shooters, it's called RNG.

Certainly not the place, but it has been around forever in the old TW games and with TGC. HB gave the TGC Tour an API to try to counter cheaters. 3rd party controllers and other USB programs gimmicks to make sure straight shooters can hit it straight and/or perfect/perfect were not only denounced but bragged about by some users. Years ago, I remember checking one of those in a twitch of a user bragging about cheating.  And it was some kind of USB to program a controller. This program was for a noble cause, to help disabled gamers to enjoy games. But sadly...

At the end of the day, as that user bragging about cheating was saying, play online head to head at your own risk. It looks like EA decided to crank some RNG to defeat those devices. Unfortunately, it makes the game unrealistic where the ball goes what the hell was that.

So we all suffer from the stupid RNG, go figure.

  • @buddhamonk1 Even if you could use 3-click on anything other than Arcade

It’s not THAT difficult to hit it straight with a joystick

In fact I’m pretty confident I can hit it straight 99% of the time with Dual sense edge

What you are completely failing to remember is 3-clickers STILL have RNG and there is zero escaping that

By the way, the RNG for 3-clickers is more enhanced compared to analog users. Even with legendary specs, the effects of RNG for 3-clickers is still more than what analog users experience. 3-clickers are still at a disadvantage when it comes to RNG.

When you're a three clicker just watch the end of the blue swing line as it swings back and fourth when it's in the middle click it set the RNG then do the other two clicks on the swing gauge.

  • im a three button player  and i dont cheat.  I have to focus for 18 holes and still make putts.  I would like to play against high level players even if they play with the analog stick.  there is still a learning curve due to the tolerance window but as i leveled up my accuracy got better and shots became more consistent
