absolutely disgraceful
Ive Played Every Golf Game Put Out By EA ,Going Back As Far As The Mega Drive And I Have To Say They Were Good Games .I Loved The Tiger Woods Series ,As Far As I Was Concerned EA Were The Best . Whe...
I especially hate when I make a perfect swing and sometimes it goes straight while other times it goes left or right. It’s like a game of chance due to the shot dispersion rather than rewarding a good swing every time consistently. Punish me if I’m off but not when I’m dead straight on the swing.

One of my many main complaints I have been trying to get across to people about the game from day one. You should never be punished for making a good shot. A little RNG is fine, or just make the swing path a little more sensitive to input.
There is also something seriously wrong with the ball physics where there is a serious drop off between a 6-iron and 5-iron or lower where roll out is concerned. And the ball seems to roll further through the fairway than the green.
I have never played in England, be does the ball really roll out another 100+ yards after hitting the fairway?
Yet when putting the ball stops rather abruptly like it is rolling on a shag carpet. There is something very wrong with the putting mechanics besides what is happening around the cup. Putting should be velocity based... I am not sure how it works in EA... but it just does not feel right. Don't get me wrong... I make more than my share of putts, it just doesn't feel right. 2K23 has done a pretty good job with both the putting mechanics and how the ball should react on the greens IMHO.
I could go on and on... be we would just be rehashing old topics this community has been trying to get addressed since April.
I will admit it was not a terrible distraction when the title released but it never felt like a playing golf. It was sort of like pickle ball to tennis. Not to offend pickle ball players, but it just isn't the same thing.
