How do I compete in Alternate events in PGA?

Pick Online, and the event that has Foursome, alternating hitting shots using one ball. Today, it's Fast and Firm, Tour. Tomorrow, it's Ryder Cup, Sim.
The only way is to play badly so you don't qualify for the main event. Some starts a new created golfer straight to the PGA Tour and don't use their skill points accumulated to upgrade their golfer. There are a couple of threads on this subject on ways to compete on these alternate events. Some will probably chime in here.
