Any positive posts to read?
I’ve been playing this game for a little over 2 months now, at 1st I never really liked the game but now, I think it’s very good and fun to play, I levelled up my golfer in that time and it has reall...
This place is a cesspool of complainers. This is a very solid game thats getting continued attention from devs, these people just dont have anything better to do than complain
@BishopfrmJuice7 Solid game? Ha!
… thats actually funny 👏🏼
If people don’t “complain” about the numerous glaring issues with the game, there’s no hope it’ll ever reach its potential and potentially it could blow everything away. However, EA don’t seem interested, so right now… I’d say the Golf Clash mobile game is better than this and that was FREE to download 😆
If you’re happy with the game, thats your right but it’s also my right to feel dissatisfied about a product that was marketed as simulation golf and rightfully point out it’s a million miles from simulation golf and no one can tell me I cannot point that out.

I agree that complaining about problems in a game SHOULD lead to Devs working out the issues and I think they are, kinda slow mind you but hopefully they continue. Golf clash on the other hand is a scam, I’ve been playing it for a year now and still play it just about every day but, I’ve given them 0 dollars and that is good but I’m stuck in the 30,000Th and 100,000Th games, after that it’s either buy their RIP OFF BALLS or good luck to you cuz you’ll need it, when that random spin (find you an opponent) starts moving it has TOTAL control of the next game, you may be in denial but it’s true, just go do a search online if you don’t believe me, THOUSANDS of people say the same. I still play the game and it’s still okay but I know now what it is, if I knew then (when I started playing) what I know now I would have never EVER started playing the game, they did get me in the watching ad nonsense but I hardly ever watch ads anymore, I just don’t want to help out a VERY crooked ummmm, I’ll leave it at that.
@bhamel I stopped playing Golf Clash more than a year ago, might be close to 2 years actually. But I’ll always say shots make much more sense on that game than EA’s, the physics are even better. As for it being a scam… well, it’s pay to win and while I won about 70% of my games, I never paid them a penny.
If Golf Clash really is a scam (and I’m not here to argue against it), doesn’t that also describe EA over the last 13/14 years?
If you expected EA to put out pure SIM experience like others discussed here then you're just naive. You let your expectations get way out of hand.
There is Perfect Golf and PGA 2K23 for those wanting a weekend warrior SIM experience. And they can also go back to TGC 1, TGC 2, TGC 2019 and PGA 2K21. Many games to chose from if they don't like this game.

I would say there are people here providing their opinion of the game. No one has to agree... it is just their opinion and as valid as anyones.
What I have noticed though is those considered as complainers have pretty much always provided an example to back up their statements.
This game is a weak effort to represent the game of golf. There is noway we should be able to shoot the ridiculously low scores in this game if it is supposed to be representative of a golfing sim.
If EA wants to package it as a golf game like Mario Golf, then yes it is closer to that. But even Hot Shots Golf is more of a challenge than this game.
The game looks pretty good but not really by today's standards (check out the latest with the Unreal Engine). So really what makes this game so good? I have a hard time answering that question.

Play on sim mode if you want a challenge, the setting is literally there for you.
@theycagednon We do already with every aid turned off, AI scoring turned right up and with a base player with no upgrades and it’s still not the genuine challenge we need
You think the average person wants to struggle for their life while playing a golf video game with no easier option? That's not how mass marketing works dude. Just because a few niche gamers here think that an ultra tough experience is what makes a game good doesn't mean that is the prevailing opinion of the market.
This game has 4 difficulty settings that are pretty unique to one another. You're telling me you are going super low playing SIM?
Your snarky and long winded response to my benign post is kind of proving my point......

The problem is we do go low using settings beyond SIM difficulty... with stock characters. By low I mean shooting below par every round, whether by 1 stroke on a bad round to 10 on a good one.
