Any positive posts to read?
I’ve been playing this game for a little over 2 months now, at 1st I never really liked the game but now, I think it’s very good and fun to play, I levelled up my golfer in that time and it has reall...
This place is a cesspool of complainers. This is a very solid game thats getting continued attention from devs, these people just dont have anything better to do than complain

I would say there are people here providing their opinion of the game. No one has to agree... it is just their opinion and as valid as anyones.
What I have noticed though is those considered as complainers have pretty much always provided an example to back up their statements.
This game is a weak effort to represent the game of golf. There is noway we should be able to shoot the ridiculously low scores in this game if it is supposed to be representative of a golfing sim.
If EA wants to package it as a golf game like Mario Golf, then yes it is closer to that. But even Hot Shots Golf is more of a challenge than this game.
The game looks pretty good but not really by today's standards (check out the latest with the Unreal Engine). So really what makes this game so good? I have a hard time answering that question.

Play on sim mode if you want a challenge, the setting is literally there for you.
@theycagednon We do already with every aid turned off, AI scoring turned right up and with a base player with no upgrades and it’s still not the genuine challenge we need
Yeah, there's a few believing the game is no challenge, they're playing rounds of -15 blindfolded with their toes at the hardest settings, with no spec and no aids. They want to be playing rounds in the 90s like they do in real life. This game is just not for them and it's all good. That's why somebody I know went back to Perfect Golf playing with a mouse as PGA 2K23 is no challenge for him either. And he's not wasting his time constantly complaining here.
When I stopped playing this game you couldn't get any closer to sim than my settings. I turned everything off that was possible. Except wind direction... if I remember correctly... and AI was at 100%. And I used a stock 67 character, no skills... etc.
I was leading every career mode tourney by the middle of round 3 at the latest.
Average rounds about -3... but occasionally I would go low.
The short game is way too easy.
You think the average person wants to struggle for their life while playing a golf video game with no easier option? That's not how mass marketing works dude. Just because a few niche gamers here think that an ultra tough experience is what makes a game good doesn't mean that is the prevailing opinion of the market.
This game has 4 difficulty settings that are pretty unique to one another. You're telling me you are going super low playing SIM?
Your snarky and long winded response to my benign post is kind of proving my point......

The problem is we do go low using settings beyond SIM difficulty... with stock characters. By low I mean shooting below par every round, whether by 1 stroke on a bad round to 10 on a good one.
