The social aspect of this game is really needed. in the old pc game we had user made clubs and whole communities were built around them. People would even meet up in real life, like my father who played tw08 religiously once I got him hooked lol. He passed away a few years ago people knew him as RichPuffy. This game is bringing back alot of memories.
I would like to see text chat, or voip for sure. I think EA would be concerned of toxic behavior, so I doubt we'll ever see it. A communication rose so you could say, Nice hit, good game, thank you... whatever... would even be decent. I agree, needs to be more social. We have nothing, no way to communicate with others.
if you are using steam they have voice chat rooms you can put up
to connect with your friends, it sure makes the MP world easier to play.

server that can be used free all you have to do is join the site.

If I would of known this I never would of bought the game. Seriously, toxic players? People can just turn off chat. This is the first game in history that has a multiplayer with no chat function. RIP.
ANd yes it kills me I can't say nice shot, nice chip, gl, gg etc. They don't have to add voip, just a chatbox for goodness sake. People got married through the old pga tour games on the pc. Lifelong friendships were created with people all over the world. This is EA sports new legacy? being soulless?

I just really want a chatbox man. I don't want to talk on the mic everytime I play because sometimes I just want to relax after a hard day. Going into some teamspeak with a bunch of strangers is not that appealing to me. I do that sometimes on team games though. If was to voip with someone it would be someone i would have to meet in the game first and probably would be people around my level of play.
But I still would like to be able to communicate with others to show common sportsmanship at least. I'm literally in shock that there is no chatbox in this game. First time in almost 40 years of pc gaming. Even EA Sports first golf game on pc in 1986 the player had little chat bubble and cursed when he missed a shot. What kind of sensitive carebear society are we living in now? This is literally oppressive! We are literally killing any future for our children with games like this. lol.
Look at games like Valorant on the PC. One of the most popular e-sports right now in NA, which is a dead region for pc gaming. Everyone talks on the mic. And its mostly all kids, its healthy. Its like 10 year olds who match up for competitive matches in your local parks. THe beauty of the internet is that you can ignore abusive people without any repercussions. The internet should be an escape for these kids, not another prison. This all very sad and depressing.
Hi I've just purchased pay tour And ps5 after playing tw14 for many years, I Totally agree with your comments, Why oh Why would you not add an in game messaging facility to the game, there seems to be No social side to this game for even polite comments I.e nice putt, good shot, well played, thanks for game, there's a lot missing from the well loved tw series of games, 😥

At a minimum it would be nice to have about 10 canned reactions. Clap, cheer, gg, gl, etc.
I agree. It's good to talk. Half the game of golf.
