Are you playing sim mode? Would that not be the closest to a 'true golfing experience'?
Anything lower than sim is pretty easy, but that is why sim exists.
@theycagednonYes... I have a custom setting that is harder than SIM, but I do leave the grids on as a 2D screen just doesn't give enough detail. And I do play with the zoom on, but would have preferred that there was an option to limit it to 40 yards around the ball.
Otherwise... all meter data is disabled, and meters are off. Wish we could also remove the aiming reticule, but again that option is also not available.
I just started a career, and shot -8 at PGA West on the first round but the game corrupted. Week 2 also had corrupted data. But after rebuilding the database on my PS5 I shot -11 on round 1 at the Pebble Beach ProAm.
