ball lie

ball lie has ZERO affect on shots, a ball below my feet is "supposed" to get pushed and vice versa on above, but -EA- doesnt seem to know this.....

  • @-Roasted513- I'll agree with you 100% on this issue. I've had 4-6 degree lie angles where the ball doesn't move at all in the direction that the lie angle would indicate. I've also had times where the lie angle seems to cause the ball to move well left or right of where I plan. Overall, there is absolutely no consistency to the lie angle as it relates to approach, pitch or bunker shots in this game and it's infuriating. You might as well just be completely blind and guessing when it comes to lie angle. Combining stuff like lie angle, randomly fluctuating wind and huge dispersion zones, it creates a situation where no matter how skilled you are, you are going to have to make 10-20 foot putts at will in high winds if you want to shoot a perfect score. I don't mind the challenge as I enjoy tough putts, but it does get frustrating when you miss a green because you account for a lie angle or wind and sometimes neither does what it is supposed to.

@packattack04082 this is a 100% problem on tour and even worse in sim mode..... im sick of wasting coins/tickets just to have -EA- put MY ball in a predetermined spot
