Posted a bug report about the ball trail glitch in bug reports , since the new online matchplay and since update, not sure if happening in any other modes as not played anything else since update.
But here again are plenty of screenshot of issue , it is playable from fairway but any putt below 8 or 9 feet it obscures your ball so you can't see the line of putt and this has now cost me 10 loses my record shows 12 at this point ant only 2 are legitimate loses, the rest are caused by this issue.
Will only let me add one screenshot, but I have others if required, plus some are in bug report

All the information is above regarding platform etc,
no error message it happens during an online 9 hole matchplay game.
Steps tried doing far, posted on this site thursday 10th August..
This issued started on day one of matchplay download in the online section.
Shared numerous screenshot above.
If it also helps, I have only noticed a few people mention this on this site, but there are more people mentioning this is issue on the unofficial EA pga tour discord, there is also a community psn party message with 50 members were many are discussing this issue.
Obviously not everyone is aware of the answers.ea.com site, maybe add it as an advert on the game front page then all who play would be aware on all platforms and would able to visit and contribute in all sections.

After Patch 6.0 in 50% of the online matches (1 vs 1), the ball is having a trail even if it's on the ground. I have no ball tail bought for my character. I assume that this issue occurs when the other player has an equipped ball trail for his character.
