Bare Bones online

Its really disappointing that EA didnt learn anything from 2ks release and give us something substantial with online play.

The ranking system is the same as 2k21, losses don't matter so it's whoever plays the most gets the most points.

No lobby system like the old TW games instead copied 2ks Matchmaking.

Only one game mode Stroke play and that's also for unranked games with friends.

No competitive play for the Simulation difficulty 

No Societys/Country Clubs

No online course Leaderboards for solo rounds (this feature is an absolute must)

The biggest moan from 2k players was the lack of a proper competitive mode and here we are after being in development for apparently 6 years with a really poor online side to the game.

    Inexcusable for EA to take anything as far as reference from 2k23 when EA has 14 to go off of that exceeds 2K23.

    If this was 2003 I’d be impressed but this is 2023

    Team play and turn based order should be BEAR MINIMUM for Ranked and private matches

    Unfortunately, this is classic EA, promise all sorts of things, make beautiful trailers with even more promises, then release a game that has glaring issues, and not much in terms of substance.

    Honestly if there was someone who played 2004 on ps2 online I'd think they'd tell you this is worse

    I made a post about this yesterday. It can be added in. The best thing for us to do is voice our thoughts on it. It's a shame online competitive play isn't as developed as we would want. Let's try and encourage EA to add this in quickly. It's a great game, they have done a good job. We just need these features added in 🤞

    There's just no excuse for it and like a post above says it's classic EA I doubt there's even a road map 

    Like how do you make the same mistake as your competitor? It shows they don't actually care or listen or watch, it really is bizarre

    @enemy Reading through the variety of posts regarding early impressions (Good & Bad) I'm postponing my purchase decision. There is the possibility of the 10 hours play? Thankfully, I do have the experience of WGT and 2K23.
