Big thank you to EA Developers

I'm pretty vocal about my criticisms of the game here (and sometimes my other EA beefs bleed into them), but the truth is, I really, really like the core game.

I've dialed in my settings so that just reaching par on any given course is a challenge. I'm pretty happy with the swing mechanics, and enjoy figuring out the math and approach of each shot. The presentation is excellent, and the course graphics and overall sounds are best in class, in my opinion. I've played two rounds tonight, and continue to be drawn to the game on a daily basis, because of the quality of the core gameplay, and presentation.

But those things deserves better from the rest of the package, and it's really that simple. You know it. I know it. We all know it.

I hope that the game is crafted and polished into what it can, and should, be. A great golf game is a rare thing, but EA's done it before (Rory). If they stick with this, and treat it right, they're very close to doing it again.
