    @TommyGoDoWork Make sure that the "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game" option is checked within steam for this game. I haven't had the problem you described with this game, but I had to do this for 2K23 PGA Tour in order to purchase in-game stuff for that game. Anyway, give it a try.

Month later and still no fix for this. Obviously steam overlay is on and files were downloaded properly. Attempted a clean boot with absolutely no other apps or services in the background and same error "Can't connect to 1st party store". Never thought I'd be annoyed by NOT being able to give someone money.
