The setting is completely worthless. I turn it down to a 5 and AI still scoring a -11 in Tour difficulty.
It’s confusing but I believe the numeric value of the setting is how difficult the courses are for the AI players so setting it higher makes the game comparatively easier for the player. Counter intuitive but seems to be the case.
