Career mode, AI difficulty settings

This is a good question as I’m unsure what to put it on. I have tried the other end of the spectrum and put it on 1 difficulty and found that off as well I.e. an AI player matched my score pretty much for 4 rounds and ended up on -37 when I got to -38!!!

Seems to be working now, 85 is the sweet spot for me

this game is a joke, its tooooo easy no matter the difficulty. 

I am also trying to figure out the AI scoring in career mode. I had it at 100 and the winning score was 25 under. Playing the US Open and moved the slider to zero. The opening score for AI was 7 under.

Turned off green grind, putter meter, swing meter, basically playing at the hardest possible option. 

What is the correct slider to make the course US Open hard and score with a winning score around 5 under or better even?

I should have waited until the tournament was over before pre-*. 

At AI difficulty set at zero for the US Open, final winning score was 1 under, and the only player under par. 

The rough was very difficult. On one hole, I had 175 to the hole, rough percentage was 38-45, pulled a 5 iron and hit only 40 yards down the fairway. So I should not have pre-bitched. 

My golf buddies  (real golf) and I call it a pre-* when you hit a shot and * that it was a bad swing, but turns out good.

Now try doing that with a base player with no skiils or specs assigned.

I have been playing with a base player on SIM difficulty, and then going back in to disable to disable what else I can.

Sim doesn't disable everything...(ie. The swing meter)
