Career progression deleted

My PC seemed to crash mid game in a career mode match mid hole. I restarted my PC and loaded up the game and clicked career mode. When I attempt to enter career mode it asks me what tour I want to play on as if I have never played career mode with my golfer. After restarting the game and repairing the game the problem remains. Now I cannot even enter career mode as when I attempted to click "start on pga tour" nothing happens and the game seems to endlessly load nothing forever.
I somewhat found a fix. It deletes all of the career mode progress but you get to keep your character and don’t have to spend hours grinding it back. Documents> PGA TOUR>settings> there should be 6 folders with different number and letter combinations. If you click on a folder there should be an INDEX file and a DATA file. For me, there was one folder with only an INDEX file there was no DATA file. I deleted that folder and restarted the game. It let me progress through the menu and start a new season. Hope it works for you!

@Drew12153079honestly you should make a new topic about this and how to fix it. ALOT of people have had this exact issue and you solved it before EA did.

Thank you that worked for me as well. Even though I lost my career progression at least I can start over and actually play the career mode instead of being stuck in the menu.. Hopefully EA can find a proper fix so that it doesn't happen again.
