"hit the pin"
soooo.... I decided to go back to some challenges I never finished and have a "hit the pin" left to do, I holed out and that doesn't count towards a "hit the pin" even though the flag is in the hole.... c'mon now EA.....!!!

I agree on that...is it the Augusta #12 hit the pin one?
I complained about something like that when the game came out. One of the daily quest had "hit the pin", I hit the pin, the announcers said I hit the pin, and the game didn't give it to me for my daily quest.
Anyway, I agree. At one point, I hit a putt with the pin in and the ball went right thru the pin and over the hole. In this game, the ball never hit the pin when the ball goes in the hole. Most of the time, it should.
- @jack2k65 no its the heritage challenge (harbour town), john rahm one, outta the rough, probably 100+ attempts and i hole out but dont get credit for hitting the pin
- @Katybee_1313 hitting the pin is just about impossible anyway, out of my 205487239578 (plus or minus a few) total shots in this game, maybe ive hit the pin 6 times
I've hit it many times. I hate it when I hit my shot perfectly, the crowd immediately act like I just mishit, just to see the ball going straight to the pin and end up off the green in the water, bunker or rough. I've never hit the pin with the ball going in the hole, contrary with real life or in the old TW games.
Yeah, I went to that challenge yesterday. It's a minor miracle to hole out to start with, hitting the pin is a miracle on another level.
- @-Roasted513- You must be lucky as heck because I've played the game over 1,500 hours and I've probably hit the pin at least 200 times.
- @-Roasted513- I remember doing the same thing last year on that challenge. Sucks to hear that's still broken, but I'm not surprised. I hit the pin, holed out, and it didn't count. I eventually hit the pin again but without the ball going in, and it counted. If you're not supposed to hole out, then the challenge description should just say so.
This has been an issue for a year and I remembered having this issue on the weekly quest. In the past, a workaround to make a chip shot since the ball will actually hit the flag. The quest actually registered. I am not sure if it works now since I have not played for a long time.
