cheating

When is EA sports going to take cheating seriously? It ruins games!

I bought this game to play online, tournaments, everything. I don't like seeing the cheating. On the bright side, the cheaters make me a better player because they have to cheat and STILL can't beat me.

Some of them are so obvious while streaming you can see it. 

Not everybody cheats but when you're a good player you can spot the cheaters.

It's already made me sometimes regret spending the $70 for this game it's so bad but, I love golf. 

That's my rant.....

    I believe more than anything, there are many players spending thousands of hours on the game since the beginning, they have simply mastered the game. I have over a thousand hours, and I played only the free random 4 holes, and Arcade and Pro tournaments. I don't play head to head online. When I looked at leaderboards, some are playing every daily, weekly and seasonal tournaments. Every mode, Arcade, Pro, Tour and Sim. And they're playing lots of online head to head too.

    Of course, there are also expensive controllers with all the features and scripts, costing like 3 times the price of a normal PS5 controller, but there's nothing EA can do about that. Most of them I saw online when I was shopping for a new controller were PS approved.

    Perhaps someone is cheating, but I doubt it.

    I play this game a lot, but "a lot" for me is maybe an average of an hour a day since launch. I have no trouble shooting -18+ for 18 holes on any mode (other than SIM which I don't play due to putting).  If I can shoot -18+, certainly someone who is playing this 4,5,6+ hours a day can shoot those -24 to -26 under we see on the various tournaments.

    And those guys shooting -24 etc are still human.  I run across them in online modes from time to time, and while they generally beat me, I still do get a win once in a while. I assume they sneezed mid swing!

    @Katybee_1313 i bought a controller specifically for this game (which was a waste of money) and it really makes no difference than a "basic" default console controller

    @7AnimalMother seeing the same people shoot 2-3 or better than I do (when I post a -24) is a problem
    so instead of defending these people, maybe you should start looking into this as well
    when the game behaves itself, I can and WILL light up a course

    When they are on top of the leaderboard, they claim results are good. When someone else is on top of the leaderboard, they claim cheating without proof. Can’t have it both ways.

    @PalomaMarvel24people NEED to cheat to win, it's that simple, if you can't accept that, that's on you. sometimes it's so obvious but people do try to hide the fact that they cheat to win, it's not necessarily scores, it's the way they play to make those scores

    this is why I advocate the removal of UNLIMITED attempts also

    Well there it is. I'm so glad I don't play PC and there is no cross-platform.
