i get why some people put up some stupid scores on the daily/weekly tournaments, they're to scared to putt on the greens and choose to chip or use the pitch shot, learn to putt and be good

yep don't ya just hate it when you are playing someone online
and you see this? just makes me wanna quit seeing people too lazy to learn how to putt.

Actually, that game would let you play a full swing on the green. I thought that was a great way to give you an opportunity to chip when needed. I've had a couple of long putts that couldn't be reached with the putter. Didn't do too bad playing a full swing pitch

Why is the chipping attribute part of the putting skills ?

from JNPG yea I remember the full shot crap on the greens but never used it I am a firm believer in putting. what ya think bout this game so far I really like it but then again it was great to get away from JNPG after all the years playing it.
have a good onepitch and chip on greens, no. i dont care how far away you are, 100 feet, thats your own fault to begin with.
learn to putt, its not that hard, plus there are putting challenges people can do to help learn the basics
Yes it will always be the players own fault when they end up in really bad lie, right, because nobody would ever have a ball land badly due to random dispersion issues in the game of course...
And if you ever bothered to read through the responses properly, you'd have maybe noticed that your elitist 'learn to play / get good' lines cannot always be applied.
