I see it a little differently, while I hear what you are implying... and in some ways agree with you. IMHO, there are two groups you are singling out not one.
There are is a frustrated group offering constructive criticism with potential solutions, which is obviously falling on deaf ears... and a group that just likes to rant.
I would have to disagree with you on how realistic the gameplay is... which was pretty obvious after playing my first round with the game. I cannot speak to the accuracy of the scanning of the courses. But I can say the ball physics are not even close to matching what you see on TV.
The 16th hole on Augusta is a prime example. On a Sunday pin the ball will not just stop on as it is feeding down the slope to that lower left pin placement.
While approach shots are like landing on ice, the greens are like a shag carpet for the short game.
I feel some constructive criticism is warranted because it's pretty obvious from all the shortcomings in this game a little golf knowledge is needed.
And other than the ranting... most of the criticism would be a positve step towards improving the game.
