Created player, no button to start career

after I create my player, I can't seem to find any button to actually start the career.

I would advise you play a bit of the game before starting the career mode. At a minimum go to the Challenges section, the Coaching Academy, then PGA Coaching and do 'The Basics' Challenges. Also check out the Tournaments section and do the free daily arcade tournament as a way to earn reward points.

Atleast you can get into the game/app in general. I'm limited by EA App not even allowing me due to "unstable connection" while steam is running flawlessly.

thats weird. maybe you can try changing your DNS server and see if that helps?
