Cross Platform Progression Not Working

I bought this game on Xbox and PC with the hope that I would be able to play the same career mode on both. From EA’s website “Cross-Platform progression is available for your created golfer”. My character loads on both and seems to update but the career progression does not seem to cross over (i.e. if I play a tournament on Xbox it will not be reflected on the PC account). Is there a way to fix this or should I just refund one of the copies?

    HI @cocnballs69 To confirm the career progression does not career over. You are able to use cross-progression features to carry your created Golfer over with you.

    Who's idea was that and why? The whole point of cross progression is to be able to "progress" through the game on different platforms with the same saved games, not just bring over a character created on another platform. What progress is that other than not having to recreate the same character. If it's not REALLY cross progression it should be mentioned as such so people don't buy the game expecting it and the become stuck wasting their money. Who cares about carrying over a golfer if you need to then create and play separate careers? This is ridiculous. Can you please fix this EA?

    agreed, what they are calling "cross-progression" is nuts. I want to play the same saved game across platforms. That's cross progression imo.
