The crowd is in the way on the first shot making it impossible to hit the green. Shot 2-5, the crowd is not in the way. 

I have a video but it's too large to upload.

This is still occurring every time I enter the challenge or restart it (27/05/23). First shot has the crowd standing in the way, making it impossible to get the ball to the green. Shots 2 - 5 have the crowd parted, enabling shots to reach the green. This is the only challenge left that I need to complete in The Vault.

Also, ALL 'Finish #-under or better' objectives in the Challenges section are not tracking at all. I now have several challenges incomplete due to this bug.

As of 5/27/2023, the land balls on the green criteria for Day - Hole #2 challenge is now "land 3 balls on the green." The crowd in the way issue is still there for the first shot, but at least you now have 4 remaining shots to land 3 balls on the green. At least it can be completed now.

A couple of weeks ago, they changed the criteria for the Day Hole #2 challenge so you only have to land 3 balls on the green. The crowd issue is still there for the first shot but you have 4 shots to land 3 on the green. I haven't seen the Quail Hollow challenge yet, so I don't know if they changed that one.

So don't bother fixing the issue, just edit a number.

EA's idea if bug fixing is a joke.

If you have a flat tire, you don't sidestep the problem by walking...you fix the damn tire.

I hot a tee shot about 20 yards left of fairway in career mode on TPC Southwind. For my second shot i had spectators standing right in front of me with no way to make a shot. I thought maybe the spectators wont affect the ball and i lined my shot up accordingly and the ball bounced off a spectator and right back to where i was. Please fix this. There should not be a scenario where spectators are in your line.

Summarize your bug When you first hit the ball into the crowd or behind them, they might be on your way when taking the second shot and the ball will ricochet like it hit a brick wall. Also, TPC Scottsdale with the Crowd setting Off they remove the whole stadium, which is not cool for the legendary hole.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Hit the ball into or just behind the crowd and see how they keep the same placement, sometimes they are badly on your way. TPC Scottsdale you can see 100% with just playing it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Ball is unplayable since the shot will just hit the crowd and ricochet like it hit a brick wall
What do you expect to see? Crowd placement fixed when ball is hit into crowd. Also best fix would be if they could dodge incoming ball. TPC Scottsdale should have stadium.

This is a major bug that everyone has seen from the start. I know its a huge fix to get crowd dodging, but at least you should be able to fix the next shot crowd placement. Also brick wall-ish ricochet is pretty exaggerated effect when ball hits a human
