Disappointing with a few factors with Road to the masters
I only recently upgraded my PS3 to a PS5. I had to quit playing golf due to health issues. I really enjoyed playing road to the masters on my PS3. I then went for Tiger Woods PGA tour 14, but that game had some serious issues. it was impossible to complete all goals because the game would at sometime completely freeze and you couldn't play to the very end (I even bought a 2nd disc but the same result)
Anyway this new game It was great they introduced 'The Ryder Cup' which I hope they eventually introduce the course into the tour, but the biggest shame was you couldn't play for Europe and pair up with any other European players.
the main game really needs to allow you to simulate 1 or 2 of the 4 rounds on the tour. yes I know you can simulate and play 4-6 holes on the quick, or just 1 round in comps.
the things I'm really disappointed in are as follows
1, the only challenge is different wind factors, why isn't there any rain of any kind, or even the occasional shower during a round.
2, The Masters? 10 years ago the game gave you the oppertunity to play the 'Par 3' course, yet nowhere to be seen
3, The commentary is so repetertive, in accurate and when your on the green at the 72nd hole putting to win the comp, there is no build up or pressure. then you sink the put and it's like you've just finished the 18th. Yes I know there is the trophy celebration and congratulations after, but a little more effort would be so much better.
4, occasionally I have the 'Al pairings' on for the final round. I only seem to play with Scottie Sceffler, Patrick Cantlay or Xander Schauffele, and when they get a birdie, the commentator is roaring about how many under par they are with my score.
5, Challenges has a few issues not giving stars when you achieve an objective, and some freeze the game (though I think I found a way round it on 2-3 occasions, I just changed their outfit, and got to play the challenge)
I'm sure there are things that others think could be improved on, and hopefully @EASport can 1 day put things right when doing updates
