Disc version of golf won’t download update

So I just bought the Maters pga tour golf. It will not download the update. Just says “something went wrong”. Do I need to return this and bail on the game? Very frustrating. I have a ps5 disc version and I bought the disc version of the game.

    Hi @johnsonfamily124 

    When you have a moment, can we give the following a try and then check if you can grab the latest updates?

    • Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)
    • Verify you signed into your PSN account
    • Check for console updates 
    • Restore Licence in console settings
    • Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
    • Open your PS5 NAT Type
    • Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)  
    • Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database
