Does Xbox require Gamepass for single player career play?
I’ve seen comments that this game requires “online” access for anything outside “Quick play” games. I have an internet connection to my Xbox so that would seem to be OK. But the Xbox store page says the game requires Gamepass to play? I do not have Gamepass.
Searches so far haven’t clarified this. “Online” (just an active internet connection) vs “Gamepass” (paid subscription).
I want to play a single player career, advancing through the tournament and building up my golfer.
Do I need Gamepass to play this kind of single player career content?

@fc6544a3aa338ce0I don’t think you need gamepass to play career mode. When I last played, I did not need it. I have not played this game since August, but other EA Games like UFC 5, EA FC 24 and NHL 24 has the gamepass option opening. For these games, all I do is click the button for back (B for Xbox) and that screen is back to main menu. Then I could play the other single player game modes. The same should work PGA Tour. If that still doesn’t work then file a bug report.
