EA APP

Up until about a month ago the game always started.  Since then it is hit and miss so I lowered the UAC a notch which helped for a while.  Now it is back to hit and miss and when the game does not start I have to log in to the EA APP.  Anybody else have to do this too?

    Apologies but to confirm when the game doesn't launch you get asked to sign into the EA app? Also do you normally launch from a desktop icon or from the EA app library?

    I have had EA Golf for a year and the issues starting the game began  a few weeks ago.  I launch from Steam.  What happens is that when I hit Play it flips to Stop and then back to Play. and nothing more happens.  What I do then is log in to the EA App, stay logged in and go back to Steam.  I have never launched from the EA App library.

    I have also clicked on Repair in the EA App and then back to Steam.

    Next time it happens I will document my steps as I was at the point where I was trying everything to get the game started.
