EA PGA Tour not connecting to the servers

Platform: Xbox Series S

PSN ID/Xbox GT: ren4ndev

Region: South America / Brazil

Every time I try to start the game it can't connect to the EA Servers. Everything is right with the console network connection, and other games work just fine. There's no info about servers down anywhere, and still I can't play.

I have paid a lot of money to play this game, and all I get is frustration. Every now and then there's a problem with connection or freezing.

  • HI @IsThatRelany06 

    when you have a moment can we try the following?

    • Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
    • Remove any connected device, or additional USB's from the console then restart the Xbox and check
    • Check for updates 
    • Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
    • Open you're Xbox NAT Type
    • Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)  
    • Persistent Storage 
      • Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray 
      • Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage 
    • Alternate Mac: 
      • Go to settings > Select General  > Then Network settings 
      • Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear 
      • Select restart

    Just deleted game, downloaded again and seems to have sorted it.

  • Playing on PS5 offline career, I have had this problem the last two days, it will try to connect and fail and then on the retry it takes a while but finally connects.  Never had this problem before, at first I thought they might be shutting down the server for the game and I was wondering how I could play career without logging in.

  • Started for me about 4hrs ago.

    Other games on EA working, just this one having issues.

    Have tried the options above, have tried other suggestions.

    Please EA it would be nice if someone looked into this, I know all is ok my end and seen nothing here or social media over any possible news about a fix.

  • I have been having this problem for the past 3 days as well. It connects when I launch another game, but when I try to connect while in the PGA tour game, it never works. Incredibly frustrating, since most of the game play is through the online source. Would love some help with a fix for this!

  • I have the same issue and have since Day 1 of owning a XBOX for the last 4 months.   

    To tell us to run through that insane list for troubleshooting is really more than I care to do.   

    how about this EA, make games that work?   I’ve gotten the “unable to connect to the server” message Day 1 and it’s far beyond annoying.   Here I am paying all this money for a broken system and we got basically coin flipped between buying the Xbox or buying a PlayStation.   

    disappointing to say the least
