I can't image EA is giving up on PGA Tour. They have a multi-year agreement with Augusta National, USGA, PGA and R & A.
The game was very successful, sold one million dollars in the first month alone.

Sold 1M dollars is nothing for EA, they were probably looking to sell at least 1 million copies. They sold over 800,000 copies of EA Rory and it was abandoned.

The first week went great for the game. By the time the Notorious Update 3 ruined the putting, the game started to go sideways. The beginning of the end occurred by update 6 when Madden and EA FC were getting released. I think it is abandoned by now.
Just hoping devs can learn from the mistakes with Update 3 and also RNG so the next iteration is much better and resembles the successful Tiger Woods series.
