I believe EA already know that, they have all the data. And I'm sure EA is not unhappy customers moved to their other games like Madden and FIFA or whatever it is named these days. All the courses they said would be in the game in their promo are already in the game. Maybe we will see some of the courses in the old EA Rory coming back and that will be it.
I expect not much else for this game, this will be about it. Some lipstick here and there. I'm sure there are very little resources left working on this game, like it was on EA Rory after the initial push to sell it. Some devs have left the sinking ship to work on 2K, others have moved to work on other EA games. Maybe there will be another EA golf game in the future, but I'm not counting on it.
I agree this game is dead by next major and I am not counting on another iteration. The previously poorly made EA game, NBA Live 19, took 2 years til the price was $10. It took only 6 months for current PGA Tour to hit $10. I would not be surprised if I find EA PGA at the Dollar Tree Store by the time next year’s Masters begin.
2K knows what they're doing. Not only HB is still making the game for last generation consoles, 2K gave their golf games for free on PS Plus game of the month. It's very easy to move to 2K23 when it was giving away for free in August. Before that, both 2K2019 and 2K21 were giving for free too. For busy people, there's only so many hours in a day to play a round or 2 from time to time. And now it's between 2 golf games.
You guys forgetting this gonna be the only free to play golf soon for Xbox and pc this game will be on ea play soon that’s why they implemented season pass there will be a lot of players holding off for that like they do with other ea titles only die hards would buy a golf game

Ha, then it's perfect for EA, they can just sit and wait for all the newbies on EA Play. I'm sure they will appreciate the game a lot more than diehards sim golf gamers.
