My wife and I created own characters and played locally againts each other in old EA Sports golf games.
The characters we created had their own look, clothing and skills and
these characters could improve their skills by performing tasks.
We could choose where to play and so on.
Is this kind of activity possible in EA Sports PGA Tour 2023?

Is there really no offline multiplayer? Wife creates her own player under her own account, and I have mine. I initiate a quick play match and cannot see/add her local player in the list. Am I doing something wrong?

Summarize your bug When playing an online match with a friend, the person who isn’t the host (the person who’s invited) is unable to chose to play as a pro golfer and can only use their created golfer. This effectively makes it impossible to play, as unless the host goes a created golfer also, and you have the. 2 created golfers similar in skill it would be unfair. This seems like a big/oversight as surely if the host can choose to play as a pro golfer, the person he invites should absolutely be able to as well!! Ps…. Please for the love of god bring back turn order! Criminal that it’s not in the game.

What happens when the bug occurs? It won’t allow the invited friend to play as a pro, instead it locks them to their created golfer.
What do you expect to see? The ability for both the host, and the invited friend to both be able to choose to play as a pro, rather than just only the host. I also expect to see turn order make a return! Please!!
Fix this issue please, and pretty please bring back turn order!
Count me in on yet another who fully expected this feature to be in (that has been in every golf game as far as I can remember).
No amount of playing around with the controllers can get this to work and it is really annoying.
Newsflash EA, and every other gaming company out there. Not everyone cares about online! We still play offline and couch co-op.

I'll give them another 28 days to fix this, then I'll get my full refund from Microsoft. This is basically the only must-have feature for me so my wife and I can play together. As for which modes, I want it in all of them. I want to be able to do a quick match with the two of us going head-to-head, I want to be able to have both of us in a tournament together, or even playing doubles against a couple of pros. Make it happen EA.
I have been slogging away on my character side early launch and so have my mate, today I went to his to play a local game, I have my login on his PS5, we both wanted to play with our own character, but for some reason this doesn't seem to be an option. I know my game data is there as it says its all in sync. But when doing a local multilayer, seems my mate can select is own player, but when adding a 2nd player I am not able to use my account data to then select my player, both of us own the game and PS Plus and both logged in on same ps5. I think this is a big over sight and defo needs developing into the game as an option. Not everyone wants to always compete online, it more fun to game together, but want own characters. Not to have to be stuck playing with the pros. I could by all means be wrong and this is a feature that I'm just not executing in the correct way. Thanks
i cant use my controller when playing with friends, but works fine when im play alone?
