My wife and I created own characters and played locally againts each other in old EA Sports golf games.
The characters we created had their own look, clothing and skills and
these characters could improve their skills by performing tasks.
We could choose where to play and so on.
Is this kind of activity possible in EA Sports PGA Tour 2023?
Not even still not fixed, this thread is like, totally ignored. I am surprised it's not locked or something. Maybe there is one person inside EA that is fighting the good fight to try to get 2 custom players on couch play included in an update. Until then, my xbox sits unplugged in the corner. (sad panda face)
@cds1834I like how you and your father setup your matches. I was going to suggest you try and find a copy of 2K PGA 2019 or one of the original The Golf Club games. They play at a more relaxed pace, where it seems you are on a course on a Sunday morning.
But then I realized your still using a PS3. If you ever do get a PS4 or PS5 I would recommend one of the older games in The Golf Club series maybe 2K2019... it should be cheap to purchase so even if it isn't your cup of tea there isn't a large cost involved.
The games have a large set of options to disable making for a pretty configurable environment.
And if you or your father are struggling with the swing timing... you can always reduce the difficulty to suit or completely turn it off.
Yer been on holiday and still nothing on this, I don't know why but this just bugs the he'll out of me. Agent did you ever manage to find a way to get hold of anyone else to try and resolve this one?

Straight Question For EA .Do You Intend Adding Couch Mode, Where Two Created Players Can Play Against Each Other Off Line. I Noticed You Have Avoided Answering This Question For A While Now. So Why Dont You Treat Your Patrons With A Little Respect And Answer The Question. Thank You
Come on EA this was always a feature in your golf games. I had recently just purchased a copy for the PS5 so me and the wife can couch play together like we have in all your previous golf games only to find out that it is not possible. Please make this happen in a hot patch / Update .This was the reason why we play your golf games. Come on please make it happen.

This is still the main omission from this game and there's literally no excuse for it, just lazy on EA's part but mean many of us still choose to play other golf games with friends/family locally.
