Maybe 2K is waiting for the next generation consoles before switching to a new game engine. In the meantime, it's just easier for them to recycle the same old golf game, and selling it for PS4 and XBox One users.
Anyway, we will see soon enough what the lead designer of this golf game will do working as a lead designer on the 2K golf game soon enough. Maybe he will figure out a way for the ball to not go thru the bodies of zombies around the greens.
On pc it's dead, for sure. The only players I get these days are people like you that I can never beat. It's just a waste of time waiting for a match.
