Game freezes before Masters Playoff

I just ended up in a tie for the lead at The Masters.  It showed me the playoff rules and then froze. 

I'm getting a very up close version of pixelated grass and if I hit the menu button it shows me in the playoff.

Has this happened to others and will / can it be fixed?
