Game glitches when going into a playoff

Platform:Xbox Series S
Summarize your bug Got into a playoff in career after hole 18, and after playing the first hole the game goes to a random spot on the course and doesn’t take you to the next hole
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? RBC heritage career tournament day 4 be tied for first and go into playoff after hole 18
What happens when the bug occurs? Doesn’t proceed to playoff hole 2
What do you expect to see? Playoff hole 2

    I was having this same issue during any career playoff and it seems to be fixed as of Aug. 13. But the whole playoff experience is still pretty rough. Scorecards overlap with other titles, the situational commentary is often wrong, menu music plays during the hole, etc. I made it through 2 playoff rounds but the entire time it felt like it was about to "break".

    This is really sad that I'm still stuck with this same problem in July every time I go into a playoff. I don't want to keep losing on purpose because I can't hole out from 180 ydsto win without a playoff.

    Still an issue on 4/29. Same things as described by everyone else. Mine was on TPC West so the issue is course or circumstance agnostic. Simply triggered by entering a playoff with no workaround. I have exited or saved several times and it’s random if it will change my score or not.

    Same exact problem here, except on PS5. 

    my issue was at Pebble Beach. Birdie-eagled 17-18 to get into the playoff, birdied the first playoff hole, then got stuck on a random view of the course with not way to proceed. 

    Ended up saving the round, exiting, and ending up back on the 18th tee in regulation. 

    The bug more or less cost my my first win :/

    absolutely heartbreaking! I've poured hours into this game and finally when I have a chance to win my first tourney in career mode, this crap happens.

    @frankhjr Yeah this is what happened for me too. I closed the game and saved and it helped with the score on the screen, but the score was changed for me too. Don’t want to mess up my career and throw the match over a glitch, that would suck

    Pretty much the same thing happened to me except it didn't even go to the first playoff hole. Was playing the final round with an AI golfer Cantlay and ended up tied at Torrey Pines with Scheffler at -16. The game sent me back to the 16th hole at -9, Cantal's score card was plastered across the screen and the zoom feature was messed up. I closed out the game, went back in and had to play the 18th hole all over again. Finished again tied with Scheffler and the same thing happened. Seems the only way to break the cycle is to lose the tournament. Hope they fix it soon.
