I just bought the game and it’s basically unplayable. Things/options randomly don’t show up and it keeps freezing. Tried shutting it off and back on twice…same problems. The controller and system are working just fine (I’m on a PS5)…it’s 100% the game.
If the game is completely downloaded with all the updates, which could take a very long time depending of your internet speed, you should try to clear the cache of your PS5. There could be files in there not playing nice with the game. I had to do that twice, once with the keyboard not showing to create a new golfer, another time because the menu on top of the screen stopped showing up. Only times I had issues since I bought the game on release almost 18 months ago.
Tried that…replayed the start of a career and after I finished the first round it crashed again. And isn’t saving any career progress
