They really need to give up on the Frostbite game engine. It was great like 10-15 years ago back in the Battlefield BC2 and Battlefield 3 days, but now, it is an absolute trainwreck. Years ago EA forced all their developers to use Frostbite. But most developers outside of DICE struggle with it and need to get support from DICE to program and fix things. Nearly every single game that uses this engine is an utter mess at launch and most like Madden never get properly fixed. It's a yearly game and it continues to have the exact same problems year after year. Even DICE, the ones that created Frostbite, struggle with it as evidenced by the last 3 or 4 Battlefield games...BF 2042 being the biggest disaster.
If what I have read on Wikipedia is correct, this game, EA Sports PGA Tour, is built on version 3.0 of Frostbite, which is the same version used for Rory McIlroy PGA Tour back in 2015.
