Much more realistic weather affects or live weather. Let's hear the wind when it's blowing a gale and see the trees affect and ball flight affected by a gale. 3 click option especially for mouse users on PC. Career mode where you actually have to qualify for the PGA and not just win the qualifying tournament and then you automatically qualify for the masters. Create a player overhaul and more extensive club and equipment range
remember the old days? Man, thinking back to pga tour 2008 the last edition, IT had EVERYTHING, you can think of. I mean everything you have just described and tons more. Right now my biggest complaint with this game is the lack of a real online multiplayer experience. No turn based match play, no stats, etc... a bit of a bummer there. I hope they have plans to add to it.
But I'm just happy to get that old ea feeling back. Even if the environment is not as immersive as it could be, for example the player creation is very lacking compared to the old game. But The surround sound, the crowd and announcers are done very well. The player reactions brings back memories. I'm still loving the progression and feel of the ball and general gameplay that is giving me a very nostalgic feeling of the old game. Except that now I am using a controller analog stick for the first time lol. It does have that sport feel, although lacking lots of camera angles and replays and just tons of features and options us PC users were always accustomed to. But i'm happy to be playing at all at this point because 2k sports and WGT golf never did it for me. This golf game still does. So i'm very happy with the release.
