Green speed out of control

the green speed is STILL out of control, even on super soft greens the balls rolls for days and days and days... even with hard back spin, if a ball hits the green it pretty much will not stop on the green

  • Which clubs are you talking about?

Ive found the 9 iron and pitching wedge to be the most effective at dropping with little spin. Also the lower loft wedges are pretty good too.

  • How far have you developed your control of shots and your ball?

You can achieve this with specs from the shop. The higher the control value, the more you control your shots or spin.

Of course, the loft of your clubs also matters.

I don't know how much you know about golf. But it helped me to learn the basics. Club types, lie, etc.

Not everything that doesn't work as desired was screwed up by EA. Some is just physics or part of the game.

Im not finding that at all now ive built my character up to a good level.

What level are you currently and what level have you built your approach shot and short game skills up to? Obviously more power = less club needed after a drive to hit the green which will result in more control over what to use to hit the approach.

The only clubs i struggle to keep on the green are clubs from 4 iron and longer, which is entirely consistent with real world golf, and would be ridiculous if they were stopping dead on greens.

I play with high trajectory on my golfer...took couple holes to get use to but I prefer it to medium has helped me more ..and control stats maxed is better still need some specs tho

  • Green speeds...

I'm use to knowing what the green speeds are before hitting my first t-shot. What I liked about playing WGT, green speeds were numbered from slow - to championship ("9" "10" "12" & "13"}. Having that information I could adjust me shots into a green and for putting. I have no clue how or what the speeds are for this game.

If you have not played the 4 rounds at Augusta, be alert, as the greens are like "14". The hold and putt like the real game :-)
