Holes are auto skipping

On some tournaments the game is starting me out on hole 7 or I will play a couple holes and the tournament will end having not played. I am not skipping holes or even touching the remote. This has happened on pc and my steam deck. Quite frustrating. When starting the round it shows All 18 holes to be played.
