How do we get specs?

Question

I mainly play career and I've got 1 spec so far. It said that it was for my woods but I can only apply it to my driver. But that's another subject...

I play 4 rounds in tournaments and have played quite a lot. But no more specs.

The store specs are stupidly expensive, so not interested in that.

Challenges? Well I don't see any that reward specs.

Online play? Well that's a grind (which I don't mind) but I'm no where near good enough to place high enough, even after the grind.

So is that it? My golfer will always suck?

I got 2 by completing weekly quests.

If you start playing at a minimum the free daily tournaments you'll find the specs in the store no longer looks so expensive. Playing weekly tournaments may earn you more if you're good enough to place high enough. You can also win low level specs actually.

The best specs you can get without buying them come from winning the majors.

The recently added daily challenges are a fairly easy 500 reward points per day too.

I think there is a free one you can play but don't do any of the ones you have to pay to enter as I think you'll find after you've paid that you can't use three click (there have been a couple of posts where people said this happened to them). If there is a free one you can play that will still be a worthwhile source of reward points to go towards buying specs.
