Inconsistencies of shots

How was this game released with the shot mechanics so broken? You can line up a shot and hit it the same way and the ball lands 20 yards away from the same shot set up. Reading greens is near impossible the moving lines are wrong 50% of the time. Some greens are faster uphill then downhill. Wth EA do your devs have no shame?

This is exactly why I've deleted.   Probably a good reason why there are less than 180 monthly players.  My accuracy stats are nearly full!  Yet the ball never ever lands where or even near where I am aiming.   If there is a bunker, I'm in ot almost every single time.   My driver accuracy is far lower than my irons! But my driver is far more accurate than my irons.    If i have a perfect swing path as the game shows on every swing, then my accuracy should be pretty good.  Instead it is absolutely awful and a major deterrent to even want to play the game.  Random anything in a golf game is instant death for that golf game.   Ea has definitely proved that here with this trash game.    Ea golf should've stayed dead.    2k for the win

the lack of consistency costs me coins/tickets EVERYDAY and -EA- does. not. care.

-EA- should be held accountable for the screw-ups they've caused in this game, but they won't because they're GREEDY!

hundreds, thousands, millions of coins lost because -EA- can't put the ball WHERE. ITS. AIMED! and however many tickets lost in the same fashion....

EA  doesn't care about these inconsistencies because it's by design. And if you played Tiger Woods 11, you should know that. It's the same concept, except the circles are huge in this game.  Probably to force users to play over and over again, specially all those white and blue tees reachable par 4 in tournaments we're seeing everyday.

-EA- screwed up BIG time with this one and doesn't care about taking responsibility for it, such a shame

so much potential, but so much failure....

@Wildesie I never played tiger 11 so I have no idea, but it still doesn't take the fact away that -EA- screwed up big time.

I remembered TW11 and it was fun to play. The funny thing was I overlooked the RNG in that game because it was mild and manageable. If the current EA golf game copied and pasted TW11 and the cup physics was not changed in update 3, more people would still be playing the game. There probably would have been a EA PGA Tour 25 if current game was re-hashed from TW11. Unfortunately it did not happen. I am hoping the upcoming PGA Tour 2K25 does not make the same mistakes as current EA game.

@PalomaMarvel24  @Wildesie EA surely doesn't want this game to be fun to play, that's the biggest screw up right now.  And participation in tournaments is going down all the time, specially the weekly.  You want to get tickets to play the weekly, it's 12mph for Random 6 Pro, 15mph for Tour 9 holes. And if you want to play weekly arcade, it's 15mph again on Torrey Pines with awful greens. -12 is making top 100 right now on arcade, participation must be very low.  And for weekly tour, eat 15 mph some more and almost a dozen at -1 makes top 100. 15mph with RNG circle and tempo coming into play is just not fun and make randomness worse.

This game is going to be almost dead on PS5 with the arrival of PGA 2K25. Users will be able to join societies where they will make tournaments to suit all their member's preference. And since it's a new game, it's going to push this EA game on the side even more than right now.
