I've been playing this game insane amounts on the pc since it's come out. The biggest problem is it's popularity. You're lucky to find a match online because it isn't crossplay. If there was an option for pc players to also play with console players like most games have today It would be way better for the game itself.
More content is nice. Match play is Nice. Fixing bugs is nice.... Crossplay will regain popularity.
Apart from playing this. Could get a Series S used cheap enough now.
Should have been in the game from the start. It's in EA's other games, it's been a year, 11 patches and still no crossplay.
When the game was first advertised to be released, it was only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. After the one year delay, that's when the game was advertised to be released on PC too. Maybe it would be easy coding for private match without coding for all the leaderboards. Or maybe Raging Saint is right when he sees cheaters everywhere on PC and EA wants to protect users on PS5 and XBox. 🤔

I do think if crossplay was implemented It wouldn't go unnoticed on PC. It would bring a big chunk of new players to the EA PGA community on PC.
But I mean... Yes, sports game are still more popular on console systems today. But why not implement crossplay? Does it cost more money for the servers to hold up? Would it be buggy?
Who knows, but I haven't really even heard EA talk about crossplay so It may not even be in the works.
I was stumbling accross the forums and saw this post. I agree the game does need crossplay for pc players
