The game is dead and almost buried, why would anyone be continually making monthly payments to play this?
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
He's probably paying for EA Play or Game Pass, something like that. He's got the rights to play a lot more than just this golf game.
Where are the PGA Tour team? Just maybe they could be part of the 670 employees on the street after being fired for budget cut. At the end of the day, this is just a stupid golf game compared with so many employees being shown the door.
I figured he was paying for the pass IO have that as well, but pay yearly. Just the way he wrote his post, it seemed like this was the only game he was playing.

“We are continuing to optimize our global real estate footprint to best support our business. We are also sunsetting games and moving away from development of future licensed IP that we do not believe will be successful in our changing industry.”
I feel very fortunate we got the game at the right moment, after the Covid boost for golf. EA would have never made a new golf game if not for that boost. Golf wouldn't even be on the radar right now.
